It’s official – Three is Ireland’s No.1 network. To mark its rise to the top, Three launched the ‘Three Becomes One’ campaign, featuring a retail takeover and a digital stunt at the iconic 3Arena.
The No.1 ranking, independently verified by OpenSignal, reflects Three’s leadership in 5G coverage, reliability and overall performance.
The playful campaign came to life with temporary updates to key brand elements – replacing the usual ‘3’ with ‘1’ signage across selected stores. Meanwhile, a digital stunt at the 3Arena used AI-generated visuals to put Three’s No.1 standing front and centre in a fun and bold way.
Customers were also rewarded throughout the campaign with in-store giveaways such as branded goodies and ice-creams.
‘Three Becomes One’ was supported through updated AV end frames, radio, OOH, social media and digital display – driving home the message that Three is now Ireland’s No.1 network.

Another big win in May: Three was named Ireland’s top non-sports sponsor by consultancy firm Onside, for its music and venue naming rights strategy with 3Arena and 3Olympia.
Music remains central to the Three brand, with a continued commitment to supporting Ireland’s top artists, festivals and venues. Through Three City Stages, some of Ireland’s finest emerging artists have had the opportunity to perform at Electric Picnic and 3Olympia. Three+ customers are also rewarded with exclusive presale access, premium experiences and unrivalled access to the country’s top live events and venues.
