Hutch is helping unlock Sri Lanka’s potential with its new campaign, “Empowering Sri Lanka’s Digital Future.”
In partnership with global learning provider Trainocate, the initiative – powered by the slogan “When opportunities are unlocked, true potential unfolds” – offers Sri Lankans access to over 5,000 professional courses.
At the core of the campaign is the ‘SriLankanization Project’ – designed to boost digital literacy, equip individuals with in-demand tech skills, and open new career pathways. By building a digitally skilled workforce, Hutch is helping drive Sri Lanka’s ambition to become a $15 billion digital economy. Phase two is now underway, taking the initiative to grassroots communities nationwide.
In April, Hutch celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year with its ‘Staying Connected with Hutch’ campaign. The season is marked by rich traditions and a spirit of exchanging gifts and well-wishes. The campaign positioned Hutch as the enabler of these meaningful connections, with the theme: “The ritual to stay connected this year is Hutch.” It reinforced the brand’s role in bringing families and communities together, while strengthening both cultural ties and brand presence.

With #MotherhoodUnboxed, the campaign highlighted the diverse, powerful stories of modern motherhood – women who break barriers, defy norms and embrace every role with unwavering strength and love.
Through this initiative, Hutch reinforced its core values of inclusivity, empowerment and meaningful connection – celebrating strength beyond stereotypes.
